Hanna Khalil

Hanna Khalil is a Senior Associate at Kearns & West, where she supports projects within the firm’s equitable and inclusive engagement, land use and natural resources, and climate practices. She brings experience supporting collaborative multi-stakeholder initiatives, meeting facilitation, and stakeholder outreach in the climate and environmental policy sphere. Prior to Kearns & West, Hanna was a Ruckelshaus Fellow at Meridian Institute, where she supported a wide range of projects focused on global food and land use reform, domestic agriculture policy, Indigenous peoples and local communities’ land rights, deforestation-free supply chains, and environmental philanthropy. There, she spearheaded a global initiative’s workstream on land tenure, gender equity, and social inclusion, solidifying her passion for environmental justice. Hanna holds a Bachelor of Arts in International and Area Studies from Washington University in St. Louis.
