Laurel is an Associate at Kearns & West where she supports community outreach, facilitation, and equitable and inclusive engagement services across the firm’s Land and Natural Resources and Energy sectors, among others. She earned a Master of Environmental Management from the Nicholas School of the Environment at Duke University, where her studies focused on environmental economics and policy and community-based environmental management. She has a background in community engagement and program management centered in the food and agriculture sectors. Laurel’s interests include public participation, low-carbon technologies, and the circular economy.
