Violeta Alvarez

Violeta Alvarez is a Project Coordinator at Kearns & West and supports natural resources and transportation projects. She brings experience working directly with front-line communities, community organizations, and local governments in community engagement, youth development, housing justice, and supporting urban planning efforts to bring equity to the front and center. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies and a minor in Latina/o/x Studies from Mount Holyoke College. Violeta is a fluent Spanish-speaker and is passionate about working towards social transformation, particularly in reimagining solutions that increase access and center those who are most impacted and have historically been left out of decision-making processes in community planning and environmental justice issues.
