Tess Burroughs is an Associate at Kearns & West providing project support for collaborative stakeholder meetings and community assessment reporting. Tess holds a Bachelor of Arts with a major in English and minor in Environmental Sustainability from the University of Mary Washington as well as a Master of Science in Sustainable Development from Uppsala University. Tess’ graduate thesis focused on environmental communications and analyzing the ways in which we use language to discuss environmental issues.
Centered around themes of sustainability, conservation, and climate resiliency, much of her academic and professional work has supported environmental education efforts, communal stewardship projects, and public outreach initiatives.
